Stem GEMS

STEM Club at Tom Wilson Elementary

At Tom Wilson Elementary, we believe every student can be a scientist, engineer, mathematician, or innovator. To support this vision, our school offers TWO exciting STEM-based clubs where students can explore, create, and grow together.

Our STEM Club engages students in hands-on projects that bring Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math to life. Through creative problem-solving and collaboration, students learn how STEM applies to the world around them while building critical thinking and teamwork skills.

STEM GEMS (Girls Excelling in Math and Science)

The GEMS Club empowers girls to see themselves as leaders in STEM. In GEMS, girls are encouraged to explore science and math concepts in meaningful ways that extend beyond the classroom. This supportive space builds confidence, sparks curiosity, and inspires future careers in STEM.

STEM Stars (Scientists Thinking and Rising Stars)

STEM Stars is designed to encourage boys to explore and excel in STEM fields. Students develop curiosity, creativity, and confidence through fun, challenging activities that highlight innovation and discovery. STEM Stars provides a strong foundation for boys to see themselves as future problem-solvers and innovators.
